Introduction #
In the context of maintenance, sites serve as geographical references for organizing maintenance tasks and assigning equipment. The sites used in maintenance are the same as those in the Storage Sites module, but are used in a different context.
1. Websites and Maintenance #
A website that is currently under maintenance allows you to:
- Track service calls: Each service call is linked to a location
- Organizing facilities: Maintenance facilities are assigned to a site
- Manage equipment: Equipment can be located at a site
2. Configuration #
To make a site usable for maintenance purposes, simply create it in the Sites module (see Storage Sites). No specific configuration is required: any site can host facilities and work orders.
3. Related items #
From record , the following tabs are relevant for maintenance:
- Facilities: maintenance facilities associated with the site
- Facilities: the facilities available on site
- Work performed: maintenance operations carried out at this site
4. Frequently Asked Questions #
Do I need to create separate sites for inventory and maintenance?
No, a single site can be used for both inventory management and maintenance. Both functions coexist within the same record.
How can I view all the posts on a site?
From the record , go to the Maintenance tab, which lists all maintenance operations performed on this site.
