Creating a business #
There are multiple ways to create a deal in Kafinea, from the manual method to the most complete automation via the API or via a contact form on your website connected to your Kafinea instance. Another practical method is to create a deal as soon as a prospect is converted into a customer.
The specifics of records Affaires #
In addition to the usual blocks present on each record in Kafinea, eachAffaire record contains 2 blocks of its own:
Related products #
This block allows you to link one or more products to your business. From the record for each of these products, you will be able to find the list of cases for which it is used, as well as the quantities used.
Related contacts #
You can add one or more supplier or customer contacts for easy retrieval from the summary view of your business record .
Creating a project from a case #
It can be very useful to create a project from a case. Data from the Case record will be imported into the new Project record , allowing you to benefit from the powerful project management system offered by Kafinea, with project tasks and employee participation in these tasks.
To do this, click on the Create project button in theBusiness record . A pop-up window appears, allowing you to rename the project if necessary before creating it. It is possible to modify the project mapping from the Kafinea parameters.
Case study #
A software company, for example, can use this feature if a software creation quote is accepted. The current project can be transformed into a project. The development team can then create its project architecture with project tasks and milestones, and assign certain developers to a specific part of the software - a project task.
