Any text field or rich editor > “AI” button<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The AI text assistant allows you to transform, improve, or rephrase the content of a text field directly from the Kafinea interface, without leaving the current record.<\/p>\n

\n

1. Access<\/h2>\n

An AI<\/strong> button automatically appears next to each multi-line text area (simple text area or rich editor) in Kafinea. It is not available on simple input fields (single line). To open the assistant: <\/p>\n

  1. Click the AI<\/strong> button located next to the desired text field<\/li>\n
  2. A modal window opens with two side-by-side panels: the original text<\/strong> (on the left) and the AI-generated text<\/strong> (on the right)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    \n

    Note:<\/strong> The AI button is also available in the email composition window, next to the template selection button.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    2. Available Actions<\/h2>\n

    The assistant offers 13 actions, selectable via the AI Action<\/strong> dropdown menu:<\/p>\n

    3. Contextual Options<\/h2>\n

    Certain actions display additional options:<\/p>\n

    Translate:<\/strong>
    \nA Target Language<\/strong> selector appears with available languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese.<\/p>\n

    Change Tone:<\/strong>
    \nA Target Tone<\/strong> selector appears with the following options: professional, friendly, formal, casual, technical, simple.<\/p>\n

    Rewrite for Audience:<\/strong>
    \nA Target Audience<\/strong> selector appears with the following choices: management, technical team, customers, end users, general public.<\/p>\n

    Custom Prompt:<\/strong>
    \nA free-text field allows you to enter specific instructions to send to the AI.<\/p>\n

    4. Usage<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Click the AI<\/strong> button for the field to be processed<\/li>\n
    2. Review the original text in the left panel<\/li>\n
    3. Choose an AI action<\/strong> from the dropdown menu<\/li>\n
    4. If necessary, configure additional options (language, tone, audience)<\/li>\n
    5. Click Ask AI<\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. The result appears in the right panel (AI-Generated Text<\/strong>)<\/li>\n
    7. Click Apply Changes<\/strong> to replace the content of the original field<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Tip:<\/strong> You can resize both panels by dragging the center divider to adjust the space allocation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      Note:<\/strong> On mobile, the two panels are displayed one above the other for better readability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      5. Rich Text (HTML)<\/h2>\n

      When the assistant detects that the source field contains rich text (HTML), it operates in rich mode<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
