These allow you to record the arrival of goods into stock. <\/p>\n<p>There are several ways to create goods receipt notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>** Direct entry**<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the case of simple purchases, for example when no order has been entered, the easiest option is to create the goods receipt note directly: * <strong>Stock management &gt; Goods receipt notes<\/strong> *.<\/p>\n<p>[box]** Tip:** From a ** *Supplier* <strong>record, among the various tabs available, you can view the ** <em>Goods receipt notes<\/em><\/strong> already recorded for this supplier[\/box]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Generating a goods receipt note from a supplier order<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For receipts using the standard purchasing chain: Supplier order, simply generate the goods receipt note from the supplier purchase order using the contextual button.<\/p>\n<p>[box]** Tip:** From the ** *Supplier order* <strong>record, among the various tabs available, you can view the ** <em>Goods receipt notes<\/em><\/strong> already recorded for this order[\/box]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Generating a goods receipt note from a supplier<\/strong> <strong>invoice<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If a purchase order has not been entered and an invoice is sent with goods that need to be entered into stock, it is also possible to generate a goods receipt note from the contextual buttons of a <em><strong>supplier invoice<\/strong><\/em>**.**<\/p>\n<p>[box]** Tip:** From the ** <em>Supplier invoice<\/em>**, among the various tabs available, you can view the ** <em>Goods receipt notes<\/em>** already recorded for this invoice[\/box]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>**Good to know: **The importance of following the steps<br \/>\nKafin\u00e9a is a flexible system; it does not force you to follow the steps, which allows you to retain a great deal of freedom when entering your purchases.<\/p>\n<p>However, for a trading business, following the steps will give you optimal control over your supplies.<br \/>\nConversely, for a service business or for purchases that are not resold, basic entry is sufficient.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr>\n<h2>Automatic impact on stock<\/h2>\n<p>When a goods receipt note is <strong>validated<\/strong> (moved to the appropriate status via a workflow), <strong>stock movements<\/strong> are automatically created for each product line on the note. Stock quantities are updated accordingly for the relevant storage locations. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Stock update:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When the goods receipt note is validated, a stock entry movement is created for each product line<\/li>\n<li>The available quantities at the destination storage site increase accordingly<\/li>\n<li>The movements are visible in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kafinea.com\/en\/documentation\/inventory-management\/stock-movements\/\">Stock movements<\/a> module<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stock cancellation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If a goods receipt note needs to be cancelled after validation, a cancellation mechanism allows you to <strong>delete the generated stock movements<\/strong>. The quantities are then restored to their previous level. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq-important\">\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> The impact on stock is automatic and immediate upon validation.
