Main menu > Catalog > Products<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A kit<\/strong> (or bundle) is a product made up of several sub-products. It allows you to sell a set of items under a single reference, while keeping traceability for each component. <\/p>\n

\n

Example:<\/strong> A “Workstation” kit can include a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse, sold together at a single price.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

1. Create a kit<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Create or open a product in Main menu > Catalog > Products<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  2. In the Sub-products<\/strong> (Product Bundles) tab, add the products that make up the kit by clicking “Select a product”<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. For each component, specify the quantity<\/strong> included in the kit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    As soon as a product has at least one sub-product, it is considered a kit.<\/p>\n

    2. How the kit price is calculated<\/h2>\n

    The Kit pricing<\/strong> block appears on the record of a kit product. It contains the Kit price calculation mode<\/strong> field, which determines how the sale price is obtained: <\/p>\n

    Manual entry<\/strong><\/td>\nThe sale price and<\/strong> purchase price are entered manually<\/strong> on the kit. Kafinea does not recalculate them<\/strong> when components change.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Calculated from components<\/strong><\/td>\nThe kit\u2019s sale price and<\/strong> purchase price are calculated automatically<\/strong> as the sum of the components\u2019 values, weighted by their quantities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
