Template management is available via <em><strong>Tools &gt; Email templates<\/strong><\/em>.  <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>1. Create an email template<\/h2>\n<p>An email template consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong>: the template name (to identify it in the list)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Module<\/strong>: the module for which the template can be used (Invoices, Quotes, Customer accounts\u2026)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Subject<\/strong>: the email subject, which may contain shortcodes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Body<\/strong>: the email content with formatting and shortcodes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Shortcodes allow you to automatically insert data from the record: customer name, invoice number, amount, due date, etc.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>2. Use a template<\/h2>\n<p>When sending an email from Kafinea (from a customer record, an invoice, a quote\u2026):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <em><strong>Send an email<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Select the desired template from the list<\/li>\n<li>The subject and body of the email are pre-filled with data from the record<\/li>\n<li>Customize if necessary, then send<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Good to know<\/strong>: Email templates can also be used by workflows to send automatic notifications.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr>\n<h2>3. Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Can I attach a PDF automatically?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, when sending an email from a record (invoice, quote), you can attach the PDF document generated from the document template.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are the shortcodes the same as for document templates?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, the available shortcodes depend on the selected module and are shared between document and email templates.
