Have you heard about CRM? Heard about it in the media? But what is it?
So no, it's not your insurance's Coefficient de Réduction Majoration or bonus-malus system. We're talking about Customer Relationship Management here.
In fact, it's a very broad term, encompassing all the strategies put in place within a company to manage its customer base. But the term CRM is often restricted to the software chosen to facilitate this management.
CRM software enables a company to automate all actions linked to customer acquisition and retention. The advantage of automating these tasks is to enable the customer relations team to be more available...for customers. CRM software will facilitate and optimize customer management, from prospect acquisition and qualification to analysis and statistical reporting.
That said, perhaps you think that CRM isn't just about prospecting and qualifying customers? It's also about tracking the entire buying/selling process, from order to invoicing. And you're absolutely right!
It's a bit like seeing a beautiful pie. CRM software is a big part of it.
But...what about the rest of the camembert?
We'll tell you all about it in an upcoming blog post!
