Introduction #
The HR features in Kafinea allow you to track events, appointments, and tasks related to employees: annual reviews, team meetings, medical checkups, etc. They are accessible via Human Resources > Activities or from a person record .
1. Create an activity #
There are two ways to create an activity:
- Directly from the Activities module
- From record : tab Activities
Information to provide:
- Subject: Description of the activity (required)
- Type: event, task, call, meeting…
- Start and enddate and time
- Status: planned, in progress, completed
- Related party: the employee in question
2. Activity Tracking #
The Activities feature allows you to keep a history of HR interactions and events for each employee. From record , the Activities tab displays:
- Upcoming (scheduled) events
- History of past (completed) activities
3. Frequently Asked Questions #
Are HR activities visible in the calendar?
Yes, the activities appear in the Kafinea calendar of the user responsible for them.
Can I schedule recurring activities?
Activities are created individually. For recurring events (such as annual reviews), create each occurrence separately.
