Introduction #
The Instances module allows you to list the software environments or installations deployed at your customers' sites. Each instance represents a specific deployment of a product or service, along with its access URL and associated customer. It is accessible via Customer Support > Instances.
This module is particularly useful for software publishers or service providers who manage multiple environments for their clients.
1. Create an instance #
Click Add an instance from the module list.
Information to provide:
- Instance name: an identifier for the environment (required), e.g., “ABC Client – Production”
- Customer account: the customer to whom the instance is linked
- URL: the address for accessing the instance
2. Usage #
These features allow you to:
- Centralize access: quickly find the URL for a client environment
- Link to tickets: associate a support ticket with a specific instance to provide context for the issue
- Monitor the fleet: Get an overview of all active deployments

Can a single client have multiple instances?
Yes, a single client can have multiple instances (production, pre-production, test, etc.).
How do I find all of a client's instances?
From the client record , go to the Instances tab, which lists all associated environments.
