2. Link to tasks #

- Identify the risk of delays at a milestone based on the status of its tasks
3. Frequently Asked Questions #
What is the difference between a milestone and a task?
A milestone is a checkpoint (a date or event) with no specific duration. A task is a specific action with a duration and an assigned person. Tasks help achieve milestones.
How can you tell if a milestone is behind schedule?
Compare the milestone’s due date with the progress of the associated tasks. If tasks are behind schedule and the due date is approaching, the milestone is at risk.
